St. Petersburg Cajun Zydeco Crawfish Festival

As if we needed more Zydeco and crawfish after starting our journey in New Orleans, we hit up the Cajun Zydeco Crawfish Festival in St. Petersburg, Florida.  Beach drive is beautiful, and the good people of St. Pete's were a blast to party with.  Bikers, artists, families, and society types with suntans and yachts.  I could really get used to the Florida lifestyle!

After filling up on Zydeco and crawfish, we took Lucy to downtown St. Petersburgh and hit up the Second Saturday Gallery Walk.  The art galleries in St. Pete's are impressive, and the art was very well priced.  I almost bought a clock, but my daughter's favorite were the large paintings of sea turtles and fish.  We ended the night by dancing to Liz Pennock and Dr. Blues at the Moscato's Bella Cucina in downtown.  My daughter heard the music as we walked by and insisted on italian food so that she could listen to the band.  What a great night!
